Present Day Media, LLC (“PDM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides marketing websites, interactive web experiences, and mobile and desktop applications. This company-wide privacy policy applies to all PDM products and services that link to it, including:

  • PresentDayMedia.com marketing pages:Company and portfolio pages, including contact forms.
  • Snake Sphere for iOS:The iOS game app and its online services, plus promotional pages atsnakesphere.app.
  • Menu Bar Thermostat for macOS:The companion app that integrates with Google Smart Home services.

If a product describes additional notice-specific terms, those terms supplement this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our products, communicate with you, and improve user experience:

  • Information you provide directly:Details you submit through our contact forms, leaderboard name entries, or support requests (such as your name, email address, message content, or leaderboard display name).
  • Gameplay and service data:Snake Sphere online identity, leaderboard names, scores, recorded times, random game-specific public player identifiers, run-integrity data, and event or notification state.
  • Diagnostics and analytics:App version, device or operating-system information, crash reports, performance data, network errors, and security signals collected through Firebase and Apple services where enabled.
  • Device-local storage:Saved settings, coins, skins, cached scores, pending achievement progress, and other preferences stored on your device. These remain local unless a feature explicitly sends related data to an online service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect data from casual browsing of our marketing pages beyond essential log data.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our websites, games, and applications.
  • Operate interactive features such as public leaderboards and saved settings.
  • Respond to inquiries, feedback, or support requests you send through our contact channels.
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose problems, and protect against fraud or misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

Third-Party Services & Sharing

We rely on third-party services to host infrastructure and provide certain features. They process information as needed to deliver those features, subject to their agreements and privacy terms:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud):Provides Snake Sphere authentication, online data and functions, push messaging, App Check, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform:Provide in-app advertising, regional consent choices, and ad delivery or measurement for Snake Sphere. Device or advertising identifiers may be processed when permitted.
  • Apple services:Game Center, Apple Push Notification service, App Tracking Transparency, and StoreKit provide ranked identity, notifications, tracking authorization, and purchases for Snake Sphere.
  • Postmark:Delivers transactional or support email responses when you reach out through our contact form.
  • Google Smart Home APIs:Accessed by the Menu Bar Thermostat app with your explicit Google Account authorization so you can control selected devices. Data flows directly between your device and Google; PDM does not receive or store these payloads.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Cookies & Local Storage

  • Present Day Media marketing pages:Use only essential cookies or similar technologies required by our hosting providers. We do not deploy analytics or advertising cookies on these pages.
  • Snake Sphere:The iOS app does not use browser cookies. It stores gameplay settings and progression on your device. Google Mobile Ads may process device or advertising identifiers when permitted; available privacy choices appear in the app's Settings.
  • Menu Bar Thermostat:Stores configuration information locally on your Mac so the app can remember your preferences. No tracking cookies are used.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information in our care. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security issue that affects your information, we will take steps to notify you where legally required.

Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to address your inquiry and maintain records of our correspondence.
  • Snake Sphere active identity, leaderboard, and notification-registration data persists while those features are used. Reset Online Data deletes active identity data and redacts identity fields in retained run, event, or security history.
  • Diagnostic data collected through Firebase and similar services is retained according to each provider's standard retention schedules.
  • Google account tokens for Menu Bar Thermostat remain on your device until you revoke access or uninstall the app.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You can also object to certain processing or ask us to limit how we use your information.

Snake Sphere includes Reset Online Data in Settings for its active online identity, leaderboard, and notification-registration data. To exercise other rights or make another request, please use ourContact Form. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or other age thresholds as defined by law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy on this page. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Present Day Media Websites

Our marketing pages atpresentdaymedia.comare informational. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts on these pages, and we do not track browsing behavior. The primary way we collect personal information here is through the optional contact form.

  • Contact form:Collects your name, email, and message so we can respond. Messages are routed through Postmark and stored in our support records.
  • Essential hosting logs:Our hosting providers maintain short-term logs (for example, IP addresses and error codes) to secure the site. We review these logs only to diagnose issues or prevent abuse.
  • Cookies:No marketing or analytics cookies are set. Hosting providers may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site.

Snake Sphere for iOS

Snake Sphere is an iOS game. Local play works without Game Center, and the app does not request an email address for leaderboard entry.

  • Private identity and ranked play:The app creates a private anonymous Firebase account for online features. Game Center is required for public ranked leaderboards and Game Center achievements. Public leaderboards may show the name you enter, score, recorded time, and a random game-specific public player identifier; Firebase and Game Center identifiers are not published. The server also processes run authorization, timing, integrity, and score-proof data.
  • Events and notifications:The app fetches weekly events and announcements, and opening one may record that it was seen. If you enable alerts, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging process installation and notification tokens, app version, locale, and subscription state.
  • Advertising and purchases:Google Mobile Ads and consent services may process consent choices, device or advertising identifiers when permitted, and ad-delivery or measurement data. Apple provides tracking authorization and processes StoreKit transaction and entitlement status.
  • Local data and diagnostics:Settings, coins, skins, cached scores, notification state, and pending achievement progress are stored on the device. Firebase and Apple services may process app or device information, crash reports, performance data, network errors, and App Check signals.
  • Choices and deletion:You can play locally without Game Center, decline notifications, review available privacy choices in Settings, and use Reset Online Data to delete the current online identity and active public data. Retained run, event, or security history is de-identified; device-local data and Apple purchases follow their separate local or restoration rules.
