Present Day Media, LLC is a Chicagoland-based independent studio and channel creating useful tools and thoughtful entertainment. We offer a small, curated lineup of projects built around the weird, specific things we genuinely love and use, featuring captivating, pick-up-and-go experiences that spark your imagination, respect your time, and avoid engagement gimmicks.

In a digital world flooded with distracting interfaces and disposable content, we favor clarity, delight, and genuine craft over trends or attention-hacking, building polished works with clean interfaces and satisfying interactions that are designed to stand the test of time.

While our primary focus remains original work, we also collaborate selectively with partners who share our vision and values, offering custom development, interactive media design, and technical production services.

Story

Founded and led by Northwest Indiana-based musician and developer Josh Hanchar, Present Day Media began as one person's passion for crafting the tools and worlds he envisioned. What started as a personal experiment in building the kinds of experiences he could not find elsewhere has grown into a focused catalog on platforms like Steam, Google Play, and the App Store.

Each project embodies our studio's DNA of clarity, rhythm, and subtle humor, brought to life by small, dedicated teams who tune every beat, animation, and interaction until it feels just right.
